The Grand Anarcho-Dandyist Ball

Conway Hall, Red Lion Square, London WC1

Saturday 5th December 2009

anarcho-dandy

The Chap's tenth anniversary extravaganza was a riotious assembly of eccentrically clad heroes and heroines of the Tweed Revolution, with entertainment hosted by the incredibly louche Mr. David Piper, who introduced: high-kicking flappers the Bees Knees; straitjacketed bullet-dodger Mr. Flay; pulchritudinous 1940s crooners Twin and Tonic; Chap-hop maestro Mr. B the Gentleman Rhymer; storming jazzmeisters the Zen Hussies.

In Mao Tse-Tung's Oriental Parlour, Miss Louise Quatorze hosted Michael "Atters" Attree's Chaporgasimc Terrors, the Hot Potato Syncopators, Anthony Elvin and Uneven Steven's Geisha Girl Gramophones
