Neckwear

A man without a piece of cloth at his throat is a man unprepared for any sort of serious action, and, quite frankly, is not even fit to be seen in public. The silk necktie is available in as many outlets as there are patterns, and for this reason we have limited ourselves to a modest selection of classic designs in both necktie and cravat form. We hereby pledge never to stock a pre-tied bow tie or, God forbid, a clip-on necktie.
Postage costs for these items are UK £2.50, Europe £5.00, Worldwide £7.00.

Knitted Silk Tie
These extremely elegant ties are knitted from the finest silk and will mark out the wearer as a man who follows not the herd, but seeks instead to tread his own path of sartorial righteousness and exceedingly accurate colour co-ordination. They are available in maroon, bottle-green, brown or black.

Vintage Woollen Tie
Pattern One
The familiar cry of despair from gentlemen who prefer their suits cut from the cloth of yore, or at least by the tailors of yore, is that modern ties do not complement them at all. With ties like these, the conundrum is solved. They are genuine vintage, originating from the early 1950s, and will sit comfortably within the lapels of a suit from the same period, or earlier.

Vintage Woollen Tie
Pattern Two
Perhaps getting a little racier here, but still not departing from our sombre, sensible, pre-technicolour palette.

Polka-dot Silk Scarf
This sort of scarf, originaly manufactured by the much-missed Tootal company, found its first home around the necks of WWII fighter pilots, to protect them against the itchy serge of their RAF uniforms. Today, we face perils of a different sort, namely what to wear on an Autumn day to keep off the breeze, when a woolly scarf seems a step too far.

White Silk Scarf
There is a cinematic image of a fighter pilot with a scarf such as this trailing from his bomber jacket. It may not be accurate, but this is no reason to stop you wearing one with your dinner jacket, top hat, black overcoat and kid-gloves, on the way to the opera, or even to see The Dam Busters at the local picture palace.

Pocket Handkerchief
More correctly known as a pocket square, this innocent little piece of fabric can quite honestly make the difference between a man of panache and an underdressed oaf. Ours come in purple or pink, colours we have chosen because one or the other will always suitably complement what one is wearing - unless that happens to be a purple blazer or a pink suit, in which case you are invited to take your custom to a ladies' emporium.

Black Silk Bow Tie
There is really no point in attempting to be taken seriously by society if you cannot tie a bow tie, and until you do, how can you exepct to be invited to the sort of occasions that demand them? This is an all-silk bow tie which must, of course, be tied by its owner. The difference in effect between such a bow tie and the pre-tied variety cannot be overstated.

Marcella Bow Tie
Once you have invested in a black bow tie, your confidence will improve enormously and will be noticed at the black-tie events you attend. The consequence of this will be more invitations to ever-more sophisticated events, including those with a white-tie dress code.

Gold-plated Collar Clip
It's all very well owning a fleet of vintage shirts with spearpoint collars and some extremely narrow ties, but what use are they when the tips of the collar keep flapping about the minute a breath of wind arrives? This reproduction 1930s collar clip by the Vintage Shirt Co fits snugly between the collar tips, holding them neatly together, with the added bonus of giving one's Tootal tie a little extra lift. And Lord knows how well a slightly boosted tie know goes down in the correct circles.
